Entrepreneurship as a Passion
Many people treat entrepreneurship as a form of making money. And that is what it primarily serves. But for it all to make sense, it must be our passion. Why?
Professional burnout. How to avoide it in entrepreneurship?
If something we do for a long time is not in tune with us, we get tired doing the same duties, it all goes in one direction: professional burnout. And that’s not what it’s all about, after all.
Many times we hear from friends that they don’t like Mondays because it’s the day they have to go back to their duties, which they simply don’t like. In fact, hardly anyone likes Mondays.
New challeges arise everyday
Meanwhile, for me, Monday is a day when new challenges, new opportunities can arise. And if I like what I do, I look forward to what’s to come with more passion.
It is known that there are also worse days, when we don’t like anything. Sometimes there are doubts about whether what we are doing makes sense, because we don’t see results. But as soon as we see the light at the end of the tunnel, that small chance of success, the motivation returns. Why? Because we like our business.

I treat entrepreneurship as a hobby
I myself have been in localization industry since 2009. And despite the various problems I’ve had to deal everyday with, I treat my business as a hobby all the time. It may sound strange, but often on Sunday night I think about what new and exciting things might come up in the next week.
I also treat running my entrepreneurship as an adventure. It’s an adventure in which we don’t know the ending and wonder what a particular day might surprise us with. I often expect the unexpected, if I may say so.
Openes to the new
Business is not just the routine repetition of certain activities every day. Above all, it is an openness to the new, it is a willingness to take risks, a willingness to learn and a need to constantly solve problems.
And how do you treat business or entrepreneurship? And if you work as a salaried employee, do you think it’s possible to get excited about your work, too?
